The Christmas Lights on the Boats of Port De Grave

Mother Nature is having hot flashes this Christmas, providing bright, sunny days with no snow and dry pavement. Boxing Day Road Trip!
CBC’s Land and Sea has done a great show about the recent tradition of decorating the Port de Grave boats with Christmas lights so here we are in Bay Roberts Hotel.  After a couple of hours admiring the view and visiting with others from all over while we walked up and down the wharves we’re settled in for the night and planning a run to St. John’s.
With the great forecast and long break from school, Port de Grave would make a great runaway. The boats are lit until Old Christmas Day.
That’s January 6th for the tourists and mainlanders in the room.
Again, shooting with my 3 year old Samsung Galaxy tablet.
